One thing I didn't foresee when I decided to join the local indie author world was my ever-growing TBR stack of books.
Within the last week, I somehow ended up with four paperback novels, two hardcovers, and three Kindle editions on Kindle Unlimited. If this keeps up, I'll never have time to write! Or I'll continue writing and be devastated every time I look at the never-ending stack of books I have yet to finish.
It's a good problem to have.
I absolutely love the writing community here in Florida.
I've just finished an interview and chat with Adrienne Baerny, with the video coming shortly to her YouTube channel, The Written Wanderer. She's a lovely human who spends her time writing, working, and boosting other indie authors.
I've also just applied for a spot in the Pages & Perspectives Local Author Book Fair. Kate Bexell, yet another phenomenal local author, and I are hoping to share a table at the event in January.
The support I've received from local friends, authors, and coworkers has been fantastic, surpassed only by that of my family. The number of messages I receive from my wonderful support system about book fairs and festivals popping up around the area is overwhelming in the absolute best way. It takes my breath away that so many people see these opportunities and immediately think of me and my books.
I'm so very lucky to have so many people in my corner.
Much like my protagonist, Aurelia.
